Our environment is important to us! We thought you might like to know what Pickleman’s is doing to lead to a more earth friendly world.

These items are made from Corn and are 100% biodegradable in 180 days.

• Biodegradable Spoons, Knives, and Forks
• Biodegradable Cups & Lids
• Biodegradable Salad Containers
• Renewable Consumer Recycled Fiber.
• Conservation of natural resources.

We are using Less: trees for paper, oil for plastics, electricity for energy, and Gas/oil for transportation.

• Energy efficient light bulbs.
• Soup containers are reusable, microwavable, and dishwasher safe. (left overs)
• Pickleman’s purchases chemicals in bulk and re-uses smaller bottles that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
• Food Delivery Routes are split between the 2 Columbia locations to minimize fuel use.

Our Responsibility:

Yes it costs more however, as a father, business owner, and leader in our community it my responsibility to try to be a little more earth friendly, not for me, but for our children and our children’s children. If we promote it we can create demand which will result in more supply which eventually will reduce the cost. We should all try to do just a little, just a little here and there adds up over time.
